JANSENS POND
Hidden away behind the vale of Belvoir Hotel on the A52 near Bingham, this is a small but well maintained fishery.
It is now run by Andy and Jacqui Bullimore, who have dug out two match ponds.There is ample car parking and plans for a tea shop and toilets.
The pond is stocked with Carp, crucians, barbel, tench, bream, roach, rudd, ide, perch, and golden orfe.
COST: Adults £5 (1 rod), Juniors (u-14) £4 , Concessions £4, evenings £4, Extra rod £1
DIRECTIONS: from Nottingham take the A52 towards Grantham, turn right at the Vale of Belvoir Hotel onto Redmile lane. Jansens is 200 yards on the left.
BEST METHOD : maggot, sweetcorn, meat, bread, worms.
RULES: dawn till dusk. All nets dipped. Barbless hooks. No braid. No bite alarms.
No trout pellets, boilies or nuts. No pet foods or groundbait. No carp over 3lb in nets.
Carp mesh nets only. Fish pegs only. No rods unattended.
