JANSENS POND
Hidden away behind the vale of Belvoir Hotel on the A52 near Bingham, this is a small but well maintained fishery.
It is now run by Andy and Jacqui Bullimore, who have dug out two match ponds.There is ample car parking and plans for a tea shop and toilets.
The pond is stocked with Carp, crucians, barbel, tench, bream, roach, rudd, ide, perch, and golden orfe.
COST: Adults £6 (1 rod), Juniors (u-14) £4 , Concessions £4, evenings £4, Extra rod £1
DIRECTIONS: from Nottingham take the A52 towards Grantham, turn right at the Vale of Belvoir Hotel onto Redmile lane. Jansens is 200 yards on the left.
BEST METHOD : maggot, sweetcorn, meat, bread, worms.
RULES: dawn till dusk. All nets dipped. Barbless hooks. No braid. No bite alarms.
No trout pellets, boilies or nuts. No pet foods or groundbait. No carp over 3lb in nets.
Carp mesh nets only. Fish pegs only. No rods unattended.

Match lake and Mill pond. Coarse fishing. Large carp and 80 hectare Country Park with large lake and fishing ponds.
First Lake : bigger lake stocking Tench, Roach, Perch, barbel and small carp,as you drive down the small lane you go through a set of bends then over a small bridge and the lake is the second turning on the right.
Second Pond : Big Carp up to 30lbs smaller lake/ pond, located round the back of the big mill house further on from the first lake drive down to the end and turn to your left and you should see the pond/ lake.
ticket on the fist pond is £5 not sure on the second lake.
MAKINS FISHERY
A member of Premier Fisheries, Makins offers 18 lakes and pools with more than 600 swims to suit all types of coarse anglers from 'Big game' carp and barbel haulers to pole fanatics.
The only rules which need to be observed are that barbless hooks must be used, Dynamite Baits Swimstim green pellets are the only pellets to be fed and that keep nets, dogs and alcohol are not allowed. Night fishing is now available by special arrangement.
