All mainland UK internet orders are sent post free over £25.00.*

Large and heavy items such as rods, poles, boxes, clothing sets, and some of the larger luggage and bait orders will be sent via courier for next working day but sometimes could take longer 1 - 3 days delivery is normal. Smaller items are usually sent via Royal Mail 2nd Class . This should take 3-5 working days for delivery. We always obtain a proof of postage.
All orders taken before 13.00pm week days should be processed and shipped out same day if item/s are in stock, after this time order will be processed next working day. Orders taken on Fridays will be delivered on the following Monday. Unfortunately, at present we are unable to ship bulky items eg. Rods, Poles, Seat Boxes etc, outside the UK main land.
If you wish to return goods please e-mail or call 01159278859 and let us know the item is being returned within 7 days of recieving the goods,please include the following details.
Full Name and address
You must include a copy of your invoice and a covering note explaining the fault . Also the product should be in its original packaging and all component parts included.
Goods exchanged or replaced for reasons other than complaint will be subject to our postage and packing charges for new orders. We will not accept responsibility for postal charges or lost items when returning non-defective goods.
All products carry a 1 year manufacturers warranty against failure and defects under reasonable operating conditions. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
If you are not happy with your purchase for any
reason then please inform us via telephone 0115 9278859 within 7 days
and we will exchange them or refund your payment when the goods are
received back by us. Please also ensure you obtain a certificate of
posting available free from the post office or send to us by recorded
delivery so you have evidence they were posted. Goods will be exchanged
only if they have not been worn, used or otherwise soiled and are in
original, undamaged packaging.
If goods have been damaged in transit then please inform us as
soon as possible, before returning the goods to us and we will exchange
or offer a full refund. We reserve the right to return the goods to the
manufacturer for inspection before issuing a refund. If the manufacturer
deems the fault not to be of the product, The Matchmen reserve
the right not to issue a refund.
We are not obliged to accept returns where you have opened sealed audio or video recordings, or computer software.
It is the customers responsibility to cover the cost of return to us and make sure that it is well packaged. We recommend that you use recorded or special delivery as we will not be liable for any loss or damage in transit. Any returns that are returned for non-broken reasons (e.g. deciding it is no longer required or ordered incorrectly) will be refunded minus the shipping costs incurred by us to ship the parcel.
UK MAIL COURIERS
If UK MAIL Couriers are not be able to deliver the ordered products, a card from the courier will be left at the delivery premises notifying you that you have 5 days to arrange collection of the goods. If this is not completed in the above timescale then the products will be returned to us. This will incur an additional handling charge equivalent to the delivery charge applicable to your order being sent. Should you wish us to rearrange delivery again, this will incur a further delivery charge equivalent to that of the original delivery charge.
